May 19, 2020 – Spearmint Resources Inc. (CSE: SPMT) (OTC Pink: SPMTF) (FSE: A2AHL5) (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has acquired the Carscallen West Project in Ontario consisting of approximately 2500 contiguous acres. This new project is projective for gold located in the Abitibi Greenstone belt and in the direct vicinity of the town of Timmins and to Melkior Resources Inc. (MKR-TSX.v) and Pan American Silver (PAAS-NASDAQ,TSX).
During the past 100 years the Timmins area has produced over 70 million ounces of gold, making it one of the richest gold camps in Canada. Timmins is also home to Kidd Creek, one of the largest VMS ore deposits in the world.
